Tkachev drill with Bungee Mat and Pit Pillow

Purpose: By starting the release skills on the floor, you allow the gymnast to build confidence for the new skill. The Bungee mat creates a soft, slightly bouncy surface of the "rolling" part of the drill and is high enough to create a "drop" effect for the release sensation.

Set up: Bungee Mat with a Pit Pillow set up at the end for a soft landing.
